Teach your children about everyday life skills, with my kidssongs 16 topics about the thing they do all the time!
I create rhymes and songs that aim to teach children about life skills, everyday activities, and how to expand their vocabulary in a fun & rhythmic way. Why? Because I am truly passionate about helping every young Star to flourish & shine & enjoy using these kidssongs! This is why I wrote over 500 nursery rhymes songs which will be added on here for you to enjoy together!
With 30 years’ experience of childcare, I wanted to create my own resources and to share them with parents & carers. To support children's speech & language development while learning everyday life skills along the way. Sing a little song, from day one, to explaining what going on, the more they hear the more they will say & understand.
Thank you Sharon from Butterfly Lullaby for interviewing me today & listening to my thoughts & ideas. How singing more to children & using this to increase their vocabulary by increasing the amount of words children hear in their day.
Thank you Helen from Dyslexia Poetry and imagination for sharing my poems about being dyslexic and running an article about me on your website this month. Poetry & Rhymes have helped me to learn to read. I've enjoyed them so much throughout my life. I now enjoy writing poetry & making up rhymes & feel confident enough for the first time in my life to share them too.
“Seesingsay is an easy and fun way to help children engage in day to day tasks and activities, learning new skills and finding enjoyment as they do so. I have found that my son engages more when songs are used and it reduces the likelihood of behaviours or tantrums, helping to build and maintain a more positive and trusting relationship.” - Sonya C
Our youngest son was born with mild-moderate hearing loss and needs hearing aids. There were concerns that he may have speech problems as a result. However, Kate was amazing in adapting to his needs and he ended up being far more advanced in his speech and development than other children his age. This early years grounding has significantly minimized any future disability his hearing loss may have caused and really impressed his audiologist and hearing teachers. We give Kate a lot of credit for this. Elaine M
